HEMERA Hoop Earrings

HEMERA – Goddess of Daylight, Brass Hoop Earrings.

Thoughtfully placed twists and curves create angles that reflect light in a wonderful geometric pattern. Part of a series of jewelry designs using a fold forming technique, adding dimension and bringing designs into the 3D realm.

First brass metal sheeting is given notches or grooves, indented with a chisel and all at a 60° angle. After formed with the help of a swage block, brass is then finished with a fine sand texture for a low industrial glow.
